Teacher introduce artist

Romare Bearden through
PowerPoint or video.
Romare Bearden A master of technique best known for his
collage and photomontage compositions, Bearden con. Students start the collage
project and working on

artist. His work describes life in Harlem and the South, the

Goal: Summary:
To encourage students with using
range of art materials to produce art.
To help students be more familiar with
various shapes to produce art.
To keep students, follow the class
routine, and be success in learning and
making art.
At the beginning of the lesson, the
student learned a story about the
artist, Romare Bearden, through
his personal life and artworks.
Then, students continue to learn
about how to create building
blocks that show background,
mid-ground, and foreground by
using different art materials
provided in class. In the end,
students compared and discussed
their work.
Assessment:
 Use discussion and ask
questions to confirm
students’ knowledge.
 Free draw
 Practice exist routine and
check to see if class got art
point.
