ON MAY 3, 2020

AGENDA: Schedule of PsyCor Tests for Kinder, Grades I, III, IV & V
Purchase of PsyCor Testing Materials
Testing fee for test-takers who come from private schools
WHEREAS, the school opening for 2020-2021 is delayed by DepEd due to covid19
pandemic;
WHEREAS, schedule of standardized tests including the screening and qualifying exams
for incoming Kinder and Grade 1 as well as for Grades III, IV and V will be based on the
schedule of enrolment of the school;
WHEREAS, tentative schedules for the smooth conduct of PsyCor tests will be as follows:
May-June 2020 - information-dessimination through the social media
and/or posters to be placed in front of the school
July 1-3, 2020 -submission of requirements for assessment
July 6-10, 2020 -screening/qualifying tests for Kinder and Grade 1, III, IV
&V
July 13-16, 2020 -standardized tests for Kinder and Grade 1
July 17, 2020 -standardized tests for Grades III, IV and V

WHEREAS, the basic requirements for test takers are the following:
KINDER -photocopy of birth certificate (child should be 5 years old
on or
before August 31, 2020)
GRADES I, III, IV and V - photocopy of card and birth certificate

WHEREAS, purchase of the needed materials at the Philippine Psychological Corporation


will be done by the authorized representative of TPES, Bella Ellinore G. Lacro;
WHEREAS, advance purchase of Grades III-IV materials shall be done this year for early
preparation of test materials and to avoid additional expenses. For instance, purchase
and shipment of less than ten sets of Grades II-VI testing materials for few test takers
could be costly since it is being purchased in package.
WHEREAS, some parents especially those from private schools enlist their children for
the qualifying and standardized tests in TPES only to measure the children’s intellectual
abilities;
WHEREAS, these test takers utilize expensive testing materials from the Phil. Psy.Corp.
and do not really have plans of enrolling in the school;
WHEREAS, teachers in attendance during the meeting suggested that test takers for the
standardized tests should really enroll in the school regardless of the test result so as not
to waste resources;
WHEREAS, it is suggested that an amount be collected from test takers coming from the
private schools for the materials that will be used;
WHEREAS, matters taken from the online meeting will be subject for
reconsideration/approval of the school administrators for a better conduct of
standardized tests for SY 2020-2021.
