Your ward is appearing for the Board examinations from the Exam Centre of
“Devbhoomi” Dehradun Region, being conducted by CBSE for Classes X/XII for the session
2023-24. Your nurturing, support, motivation and inspiration are contributing hugely to evolving,
strengthening and developing the inherent potential of your child, for future.

We, at CBSE request you to let the child know how proud you are of your child
Encourage them to believe strongly in their excellent choices of subjects, their levels of
understanding, and of the progress they have made in their acquisition of knowledge and in
their evolution as young citizens. We request you to help them trust themselves and their
potentials, have faith in their exploration beyond artificial boundaries of subjects, and become all
that they dream of.

V\le, at CBSE would like to assure you, that just like you, we want your child to succeed
in journey of life. CBSE is an exam conducting body& thus our role in your child's life acquires
maximum importance at the time of Board exams. The Board exams of Class X/XII, are to begin
from Dt 15.02.2024 and will end on 02.04.2024, and therefore we seek your support to make
the exams a pleasant experience for your child. We request you to ensure certain things for
your child. The child must do the following:-

1. Go through the datesheet of the respective class examination(available on CBSE


website), including each and every word of the admit card in your presence and follow all
directions given therein, putting parent's signature on the admit card of your ward.
2. Ensure reaching of your child at allocated exam centre on or before 9:45 am on the days
of exams and be seated in the exam hall at or before 10:00 am. No child will be
permitted after 10:00 am.
3. Must wear his/her school uniform on day of exams and carry school ID, as per norms of
the Board. Support and promote your ward for appearing at the Examination with the
status of stress free for securing best result in order to two years performance / hard
work.
4. Carry permitted stationery in a transparent pouch for writing of subject exams.

5. Cooperate with the frisking/checking to be done at the entry gate of the exam centre. It is
for the safety of the student concerned only, as it has been noticed from the past years
that, there are some students who carries some suspicious papers barred items or
things by mistake and at the time of frisking he/she may get the opportunity to,k
hi^iself/herself safe from being reported under the 'UFM' category. Pl

6. Must not carry any barred items such as, cell phones, wallets, purses, chits or pieces of
paper, old question papers, or anything that draws suspicion about the possibility of
unfair means being adopted.

7. Obey all instructions given in the exam hall or room and ensure maintaining complete
discipline during exams.

8. Read Question Paper carefully and follow instructions in it.

9. Must read the instructions on the Answer Book and fill in accurate and relevant details,
wherever required.

10. Must avoid believing or forwarding rumours etc.

11. Carry water in the transparent bottles only.

Further, 29th January, 2024 “Pariksha Pe Charcha” will be the most important day in your
wards schooling, as the Hon’ble Prime Minister of the country is going to interact - motivate to
all examinees of the Board (irrespective of examination bodies of the schooling), resolve their
queries / issues & provide the great path of success in future ahead. Therefore, besides joining
the Event by your ward, you are also requested to spare your valuable time and attend the
same in support to future growth of your child.

Parents are equally responsible for giving the child a pleasant exam experience,
therefore, please ensure that there is no stress or anxiety conveyed to the child from your side.
Parents are also requested not to congregate outside exam centre during the exam or to
attempt to enter the centre. This will help in smooth entry of the candidates into the examination
centre as also help the staff on examination duty to pay adequate attention on the examinees.

P^'2F_ParentS’ y°U are recluested to kindly guide your child/examinee NOT TO USE
SHORT WORDS while writing Answers, AS BEING USED BY THEM -J FOR WHATSAPP-
SMS etc. such as U against YOU & "Y" against WHY, similarly "IM" against AM etc. so
that, there may not be anything adverse to the students concerned.
