Post Covid Scenario

We all know that the world will change post the Corona outbreak. There will be change in
business and most of the businesses will have to adapt to new ways to be able to survive in the
market. Businesses will be forced to revamp their strategies, to maximize profits and efficiency
level.
Although there were many businesses that were using the online facility. After COVID-19 if
businesses want to remain competitive and relevant in the market they will have to figure out
ways to have online services.

Tools like ERP will be used more than ever to automate different activities leading to a lesser
face to face human interaction. Meeting and Conferences will take place with remote tools
leading to less loss in productivity of employees

Businesses that previously only offered in-person services will either create virtual stuff or they
will move to online completely. Like Telemedicine, virtual doctor consultations.

Consumers are going to be more aware than ever before. Food retailers will need to understand
how they make customers feel better. No one could have predicted a world where people are no
longer able to go to food chains, in the current situation many food chains across the world have
already introduced takeout menus, frozen ready-meals. I believe that this will not stop post-
corona

Reliance on Robots will increase. As they can be used to deliver different things or they will be
useful in healthcare system or to help a factory running its business, they can play an important
role in a post-COVID-19 world.

Companies will be heading towards cost-cutting & cost reduction measures for several functions
by either going for automation or outsourcing as per the requirement. Businesses will approach
different techniques for marketing like social media, this will help them target relevant customers
at half the cost.

I think the supply chains organizations currently have in place will suffer in future because they
are so unstable when something goes wrong. Maybe those supply chains will get stronger in the
post Corona, but I think that platforms that enable local sourcing are more likely.

I think the reality is the world will never be the same after the coronavirus. The business world
will be entirely different. In simple words, when we will come out of this situation and life will
go back to normal, it’s likely that our new world post corona will not look the same as it was few
months ago.
