A Woman of Noble Character

As I am wondering if there is an exact word to describe her, I think it would give a hard
time for me but I think the best word that could describe her is the word “Successful Educator.”
The word successful means achievement of an action within a specified period of time or within
a specified parameter it can also mean completing an objective or reaching a goal.

But, what was the secret behind her successful career?

There’s a lot of success stories that we’ve read on the internet or books on what was their
secret in achieving that goal but one thing for sure that all of these successful individuals has a
one common denominator and it is having a good personality traits. A good personality trait is
very significant and essential in the journey of a successful individual.

Personality traits are a combination of characteristics that are innate to people as

individuals as well as characteristics that develop from specific life experiences. The personality
traits that make up a person go a long way in determining how successful he is.

So having a significant good personality trait was the secret of her successful career as an
educator. Here are the following;

Adaptability

- This is the ability to handle a sudden change without making it a distraction. She can
adapt to change easily and can conform on the sudden change in her workplace.

Conscientiousness

-Conscientiousness involves the capacity to complete a task meticulously with efficiency

and of the highest quality. I saw how conscientious she is in doing her work. I witness her
efficiency as a teacher in my major and research subject.

Creativeness

-This is the ability to use original thinking to solve a problem. She makes creative ways
on how she will deliver her lesson to us.

Determination
 -A person with determination can fight through adversity without giving up
accomplishing a goal. I witnessed how determined she is in accomplishing and working on the
work assigned to her.

Empathy

-allows a person to relate to another individual even though she may not share similar life
experiences or problems. I saw how empathic she is on the feelings of her students and at the
same time to her fellow professors.

Forgiveness

Forgiveness is the capacity to move beyond a situation in which you were wronged without
feeling resentment or holding a grudge. She is a forgiving person and I witnessed it because even
if others in her workplace do evil things to her she has a big heart to understand her and at the
same time pray for them.

Genuineness

-People who are genuine demonstrate sincerity through actions and words without hypocrisy.
She is genuine person what you see in her inside the class is the same on their home, church and
etc.

Gregariousness

The ability to socialize with and relate to other people is known as gregariousness. She knows
how to socialize even if she is already 62 years old. She really doesn’t care about her age
because for her age is just a number and this will not be the hindrance for her to socialize to
others.

These are the personality traits that help her to become a successful educator and now
she’s leaving the academe but her name, legacy and teachings will never be forgotten. She is a
woman who excels in everything. She is a woman of the epitome of success. She is a woman of
noble character. She is no other than “DR. MARISSA REYES-GUIAB.”

Indeed, having a good personality traits will help you and will serve as your armor in
achieving your goal and being a successful individual in your chosen profession.
