"I WANDERED LONELY AS A CLOUD"

By: William Wordsworth

I WANDERED lonely as a cloud

That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay: 10
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

Now class we will have an activity,

I have here a table, all you have to
do is to identify what image you could imagine
upon reading the lines. Write your answers
to the chart provided to you. I will give you 5
minutes to answer. Am I clear class? Yes, teacher.

Lines Imagery
I wandered lonely as a cloud Gives the image of the poet as a lone
That floats on high o'er vales and hills wanderer traveling over hills and valley
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze. Shows the jocund nature of the flowers
and their movement in the field
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance. Sprightly gives it energetic image of many
daffodils dancing-joy in nature

Time is up! Choose your representative

to present your output.
Now let’s check your answers output.

The winner is the kyanite legion!

Let’s all give ourselves a round of applause.

Now class let’s continue reading the poem.
