This letter is to express my interest in an internship position at Khot kool pictures company as advertised

through the MTSU internship listings. I believe that I have abilities and possess everything that is needed

for this internship position, and therefore, I am applying for your internship position.

My name is John Summers and I am currently a fourth-year film production student at MTSU, Tennessee,

United States. I have been interested in film production since I was a freshman high school. This is

because I like to watch movies, series, and TV shows. And, I also like to read novels. Firstly, I did not

think that I am going to study film production at MTSU because most of my family members studied at

university about academic stuff. My dad is a mechanical engineer. My mom was a nurse. My brother is

now studying in medical school. And, my younger sister is really interested in engineering like my father.

There is only me in my family who is interested in art stuff. My mom wanted me to study in medical school

like my brother. It was really hard to explain to her that I am really interested in film production. It took a

long time to make my family accept and allow me to study film production. I had to prove that film

production is not a joke subject. I can make money from it. Then, my family allowed me to study film

production.

At MTSU, I have taken a screenwriting course as my major course. I also have taken directing as my

minor course. The courses which I have taken are fit for your internship position that I am applying for.

Through my courses, I have learned how to make movies and how to make them work. I achieved my

goal at MTSU by getting more than a 3.5 GPA every semester. So, I got a 3.75 average GPA from

first-year to fourth-year at MTSU. Not only I achieved my goal but I also participated in social activities

and clubs. For example, I was volunteer work for a charity at a red cross. When I did work at the red

cross. I had a role in making screenwriting for an advertisement for donating. ​When I was a second-year

student. I was a peer tutor for high school students who are interested to apply for film production at

university. ​It helped me to develop my ability to make teamwork with other people of all ages, attitudes,

and mindsets. And, these also made me more confident in the leadership. I also read the ​Screenplay: The

Foundations of Screenwriting by Syd Field. It is a really great book about screenwriting. Books made me

more expert in film production but not that much expert same as my professor because I do not have that

many experiences in making a film product. Then, I decided to apply for an internship position at Khot

kool pictures company. I am interested in how you make a profit from movies and how you brought your

company into the market. I really want to know-how. ​I also watched many movies from your company

products such as “People with bear faces”, “This is mother yam”, and “Car’s lives”. And, that is another

reason why I want to apply for an internship position at your company. There, at Khot kool pictures

company, I will have opportunities to learn, study, and gain experience in a different organization that is

bigger than MTSU. And, experiences at Khot kool pictures company will help me to improve and develop

my skills and abilities. I know that there are many people who are applying for an internship but I think

that my experiences are making me a great candidate for this internship position at Khot kool pictures

company.
