Check Condition:
Effective depth, d' = 800 - 100 = 701 mm Shear span is less than the effective depth. So, the stopper block shall be designed as a corbel (short bracket).
Step 1: s / d' = 800 / 701 = 1.142
Step 2: Check shear stress:
Vu = 738.1 kN f 'c = 0.8 fck = 0.8 x 45 = 36 N/mm2
Lever arm, d = 0.8 d' = 0.8 x 701 = 560 mm Vu / ( b d ) = 738.1 x 1000 / ( 670 x 560 ) = 1.97 N/mm2
