The reflecting on me that will work on immersion

During my work experience at, I was fortunate
enough to have experienced firsthand and learned
many different sides of what goes into a project, the
general process of how a project is initially planned,
developed and completed; as well as how much
work and detail goes into every stage. Another
valuable lesson I have learned during these 10 days,
were the many different types of work a welder
student has to perform, which in turn, have provided
me with more insight into the different types of roles
and responsibilities that I could perform, as a
certified welder. Overall, my work experience at was
positive. I was very happy with the amount of things
that I have learned and experienced in the 2 weeks of
being a Student welder with the company. I believe
that company should keep this aspect of the welder
strand as it does provide students with the
experience needed in order to find a job later on
even if the experience is over a short amount of time.

Also, it can be very beneficial as it could lead to a

more permanent position, which is what happened
with me. I ended up learning a lot more than I
thought I would be able to in the time span, and my
hard work paid off as they offered me a job at the
end of it. I am so happy, and proud that I have
completed my 10 days and 80 hours in work
immersion, after a few weeks of immersion, I have
realized some things that will really be useful for my
future. First, punctuality is very essential because in
this simple way, you can how serious you are to
your job, next would be patience. Patience when it
comes to the tasks that they’re going to give you, as
well as the times that you’re just waiting for the next
task that will be given to you, even if you already got
bored waiting for nothing. And lastly, always poses a
positive attitude. Because positivity is next to
tranquility. To sum it all up, I am glad for another
experiences that I will treasure the most. There, I
have experienced new things that aren’t familiar with
the things I usually do at school. I have met new
people. And learned something.

The months I spent doing my work immersion has been one
of the most amazing journeys I ever had in my life. I
experienced different situations which are far more different
and adventurous than the usual concepts and theories
discussed before in the four corners of the classroom
before the work immersion. I can personally say that I grew
more matured regarding making wise decisions after the
work immersion. I was trained to think quickly and decide
wisely based on the given work circumstances. I learned
how to manage my Day time

the quality of work. I learned how to interact with people in
the workplace, and I learned how to professionally deal with
people. Indeed, this work immersion proved that learning
takes place when you are doing it. When you are
experiencing it rather than just merely listening to the
concepts and theories, meaningful learning takes place. I
am thankful for this opportunity, and I cannot express my
gratitude enough for those people who helped me during
my immersion and made me to be the person that I am
today.
