Jyoti, which works
for education of under-privileged
children, run and founded by Dr. Kiran
Bedi. I have been an active member of
the Yogdaan Club
for close to five years which manages
CSR initiatives for Sopra Banking
Software India. This club works on
various initiatives to
provide access to basic amenities such
as clean air, clean water, and education
for girls etc. I have also been associated
with an
NGO called SOS Children's villages of
India as a sponsor of a child. This
organisation adopts under-privileged
children from the
streets and takes care of their overall
development.

Having enjoyed a satisfying IT career of
more than five years, I have gradually
developed interest in business discipline
by acknowledging the importance of
business knowledge in any sector. I feel
that this added knowledge would
greatly
enhance my competency and ability in
handling the diverse demands of the
market. Obtaining a management
degree will act as a catalyst in my
professional as well as personal growth.

 Handling a Situation

Identify a significant incident or situation from your

own life. Briefly explain its nature, its importance
to you and the manner in which you handled it.

Recently, in my team there was a

conflict between the Product Owner
and the Scrum team regarding
estimates. Being a Scrum Master, it was
my responsibility to resolve such
conflicts so that the team can work in a
motivated manner. I asked both parties
to elaborate the reason behind their
estimations and it was found that the
team did not have prior knowledge on
the topic they had to work upon. I then
asked the PO to arrange a training for
the team and then go for estimations.
After the training the PO and the team
could reach a consensus on the
estimates.
