CTE conducts Pilots training, Flight Dispatcher ab-initio training, Cabin Crew training,
Aviation Security training, Engineering training, Marketing training, Management training
and Ground support training.
INTRODUCTION:
Airlines appoint Flight Dispatchers for flight planning and obtaining ATC and MET
briefings and to brief the pilots accordingly and other duties enlisted in the company’s
operational manual. Appointment as a Flight Dispatcher requires the students to be fully
trained and approved by DGCA. Air India Limited, CTE proudly announces the
commencement of “DGCA approved Flight Dispatchers’ Course” on Airbus-320.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
The duration of the training will consist of 360 hours or 12 weeks of Ground Classes.
Thereafter, on successful passing of DGCA / TRTO examination, 90 working days of
On-the-Job training and 5 hours of Simulator sessions for observing flight deck
operations will be provided.
In case the student is unable to clear the DGCA/TRTO examinations in the first attempt
and requests for any additional/corrective training, the same may be provided at extra cost
and it should not be construed as the responsibility of Air India Limited.

APPLICATION FORM & APPLICATION FEE (Non-Refundable):
The information Brochure and application form for the course may be obtained from
Air India Limited, Central Training Establishment, Hyderabad. It is also available on
the Company’s website www.airindia.in under Careers page.

The Students will have to mention in block letters on top of the envelope,
“ADMISSION FOR FLIGHT DISPATCHERS’ COURSE”
THE COURSE IS LIKELY TO COMMENCE DURING the 3rd week of November, 2012
The candidates are encouraged to submit the applications atleast 20 days prior to the
commencement date.
Non- Refundable Tuition fee for the entire course is fixed at ‘ Two lakhs ( 2,00,000/-)’plus
taxes as applicable, payable by the student before commencement of the course.
Students may, however, avail the option of making the payment in two installment as
given below:
1. First installment of Rs. 1,50,000/- plus taxes as applicable, at the time of
admission.
2. Second installment of Rs. 50,000/- plus taxes as applicable, to be paid after
eight (8) weeks of the commencement of training.
HOSTEL ACCOMODATION:
Hostel facility on full board basis is available at CTE. Students wishing to avail the same
may do so at extra cost subject to availability.
SELECTION PROCESS:
After scrutinising the application forms, Students will be selected through interview by
selection committee.
The venue & date for the interview will be finalized depending upon the location and
number of eligible students applied. The same will be notified to the Student by email
only.

COURSE COMPLETION CERTIFICATE:
The Course Completion Certificate will be issued to the Students by Air India Limited, CTE
on successful completion of the course to enable them to appear for the DGCA examination.
The responsibility of Air India Limited, CTE is only to complete the training which
entails the student to appear for examinations conducted by DGCA.

On completion of the ground classes students will have to appear for DGCA / TRTO written
examinations.
After passing all the written examinations students will undergo ‘on the job’ training for
90 working days and 5 hours of Simulator sessions for observing flight deck operations.
Thereafter, Student will be required to appear for viva at DGCA, New Delhi or any other
station.
3. Violations of terms & conditions of admission will render the student liable for
immediate dismissal from the programme without any notice.
Please note that this course does not guarantee a job in Air India Limited.
