I. Learning Objectives:

At the end of the lesson, the students are able to:

a. Understand the history and origin of the different ethnic dance in the Philippines;

b. Recognize the different ethnic dance in the Philippines;

c. Demonstrate the basic step in different Philippine ethnic dance.

II. Learning Content:

II. Learning Procedure:

A. Greetings!

A. Drill/review

Ask the students what is their first classroom rule.

B. Motivation

Present some pictures of different Philippine ethnic dance.

Show the box that has something inside that they can use for their group activity later.

C. Presentation of the Lesson & Discussion

The teacher will discuss about the three types of ethnic dance and examples of ethnic dances in the
Philippines and its origin.

Have the learner watch the videos of the different ethnic dances.

E. Application:

I will group them into 5 and each group will perform one of the ethnic dance in the Philippines.

F. Generalization:
Ask the students by group what type and what kind of ethnic dance they performed.

IV. Evaluation: (Mapeh Notebook)

Identify the different ethnic dance.
