3. Express personal feelings on
the distinctive characteristics of
Afro-Latin American
and popular music as a means
of building good relationship.
IV-Activities:
1. Let the students listen to
some samples of Afro-Latin
American and popular music
and compare their musical
genre to the Philippine music.
2. Divide the students into five
groups and let them compose a
dance steps in an Afro-
Latin American and popular
music using indigenized
musical instruments found in
the barangay.
3. Group the students into three
and let them discuss with their
group the different
characteristics of the Afro-Latin
American and popular music
and the Philippine
music.
V-Assessment:
1. Differentiate the musical
genre of the Afro-Latin
American and popular music to
that
of the Philippine music.
2. Perform the created dance
steps in an Afro-Latin American
and popular music with
the used of indigenized musical
instrument found in your
barangay.
3. Present in the class the output
by group following some
rubrics. The teacher will
choose the best presenter.
