A. Group Activity
1. Students will be grouped into three (3). Each group will be given printed materials about Socrates, Plato and Aristotle perspectives about life.
2. Let them make a graphic organizer in explaining the thoughts and ideas of the great philosophers.
3. Provide guide questions to be answered:
a. What is the meaning of life according to Socrates? Plato? Aristotle?
b. What instances or experiences you can relate that support their views?

B. Know thyself: Write your strength and weaknesses.


These are four aspects. Leave the part of the unknown (for life has many miseries). The side where others know about you or perceive you, ask the help
of your peers, teachers, parents or relatives. Their contribution will support or make clearer hoe you can achieve your future plans. You must be open to
accept how others might perceive you. Always be open to suggestions. Be generous in giving feedback of you classmates. Focus on the positive.
You will assess your own negative and positive side. These are some of your characteristic that only yourself knows, you should include this in your
honest evaluation. There is also a part of you that is public or obvious to others. You should also consider them.

1. Detailed discussion on the meaning of life (where will this lead to).This is all about the perspective of the different philosopher about the meaning of
life.
2. Film showing on valuing one’s life.
Guide questions:
a. How do you understand the value of “care”?
b. In your own views, how can you attain a higher self?
c. Lists an event in your life where you face a situation alone?

Application

2. Reflect on the Meaning of Your Own Life

After learning from the views of the philosophers, write your own short reflection regarding the meaning of life. There should only be 3-5 sentences.
You could also opt to write on your personal blog.
