PROCEDURES
4.1 Introductory Activity MOL (prayer and checking of attendance)
5 minutes Review of the previous lesson.

4.2 Activity The teacher posts pictures of the different common plumbing symbols used
15 minutes in technical drawings and plans. Selected students are given a piece of paper
with a description of the electrical symbol and sign written on it. They are
tasked to match their paper to the pictures posted on the board. Checking of
their answers will follow after.
4.3 Analysis Ask the learners the following question:
5 minutes - What do you think are the use of these plumbing symbols?
- How important are these plumbing symbols?
4.4 Abstraction Discussion on the different plumbing symbols used in technical drawings and
10 minutes plans.

4.5 Application Group Activity


15 minutes The class will be divided into 10 groups. The groups are tasked to draw a technical
plan using the different symbols. The drawing must contain of at least 10 plumbing
symbols. No labels will be written on the drawing for it will be used to the next
activity.
4.6 Assessment With the same group, exchanging of the outputs from the
15 minutes previous activity will be done. This time, they are tasked to
label the electrical symbols drawn by the respective groups.
4.7 Assignment Research on the different alphabets of lines.
5 minutes
4.8 Concluding Activity Minute Paper
5 minutes In just one minute, the students are tasked to write down the things he/she learned
from the lesson. Random students will be called to share his/her answer.
