Job Description: Butler - Machine randomly stopping and moving unexpectedly. Possible SRAM failure.

Work Completed: After verification of PMC Params and PMC Ladder I found that the high gear shifting is not fully
complete. Pulled shifter and see damage to radius entry edges on the low gear side. Unable to view
high side as these gears are internal to main planetary side.

Adjusted shift lever centerline to achieve mostly reliable gear shifting.

Found that the machine will run without gear engagement. Given the gears are slipping out while in
operation, the lack of software to stop the feed and spindle motion is a problem.

Modified original ladder via Ladder-iii and tried to install. The PMC type is RB1 which requires FAPT
Ladder - 2 to correct compile the file for use in the machine.

Will get with another tech to use his older version to compile to FAPT Ladder - 2

Currently maintenance will work to prepare a stock gearbox for change. Jay will get with ZF to
ensure the 300 series is compatible with the 200 series. If compatible then maintenance will change
them.

Once I have the software corrected I will return to install and test.
