Course Description The course covers the organizational set-up, administration and operation of security agencies, special police and investigation agencies
and deals with the study of Private Security Agency Law and its implementing rules and regulation; loss prevention and assets protection
program; and the different methods and techniques used by security agencies in their law enforcement activities.
Contact Hours/week MWF 3:00-4:00 TTH 2:30-4:00
Prerequisite
Course Objectives At the end of the semester, the students should able to apply the school VMGO in the respective course and must have:

1. Explained the legal basis of industrial security in the Philippines and elucidated the three major division, as well as the different
types of security.
2. Memorized the professional code of ethics and code of conduct for security personnel and security agencies, as well as the
general orders for security guards.
3. Discussed the qualifications, attributes, functions and the different types of security agency authorize by law.
4. Identified the authorized ranks, positions and staffing patterns of security agencies.
5. Discussed the different methods and techniques employed in management of security agencies.
