Meaning: This expression is used when different people give an amount the
money for a purpose. For instance, reunite money for a trip.

Example: La cague en ese parcial.

Example: I fucked up that midterm.

Meaning: This expression is used to refer a person committing a mistake. “I


screwed it up”

3. Expression: Comerse el cuento


Example: No se deje de comer cuento de ese hombre.

Example: Don’t stop eating that man’s tale.

Meaning: It’s when someone believes something (which is usually a lie).

4. Expression: Parar bolas


Example: No le pare bolas al profesor calculo.

Example: Don’t stop Professor Calculus.

Meaning: This expression is used to say someone does not pay attention to
something.

5. Expression: Te caigo.
Example: Sofia te caigo en cinco minutos.

Example: Sofia I drop you in five minutes

Meaning: The verb fall in this context is used to say that a person appears at a
given time.

Example: Te robaron el celular por dar papaya.

Meaning: This expression is used when people put themselves in a position


where they will be laughed at.

Meaning: Is that expression of admiration, is a compliment, flattery or praise


that is told to the pretty girl or to the good man that passes by the street.
