Draw the Philippine Map emphasizing the places where specific proverbs originated.
Decide which of the underlined statements give information and write them in the treasure chest.
And those sentences that do not inform will be written inside the trash box. (Activity Sheet No. 3)
Task 4: The Origin of Proverbs. Discuss proverbs, their definition and origin. Connect how proverbs
can persuade. Discuss further here the purpose of informative and persuasive statements,
paragraph or essay.
Get your Bible. Locate 5 verses from the book of Proverbs that can motivate. To whom is each
proverb addressed? Write them inside this church. Choose the location where they can be easily
seen by the churchgoers. (Activity sheet No.4)
Study the Philippine map and compare it with this unlabeled map. Can you identify the places?
SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENT,
Label at least 5 places in the map and write inside each, its notable proverb. (see rubric below)
