Mrs. Fox
Pizzitalia
2332 Comestock Avenue
Plymouth, MN 55446

Dear Mrs. Fox,

Since Pizzitalia, your family run company is creating a new look, we have redesigned the logo. The logo,
displaying a slice of pizza, as well as a bowl of pasta conveys the basics of this Italian restaurant. With the two
most famous items of the menu and laid over with the background of an Italian flag, it really gives a good feel of
eating the simplicity of an Italian cuisine.

This idea was suggested, because with the types of food right here on the logo, it catches the attention of many
people interested in this type of food, and gives them the idea of deep-dish pizzas, and the pasta this company is
known for. This in return, attracts more guests, who don’t even need a menu to decide what this restaurant is all
about!

We increased the looks of this logo and make it more attractive, as well as appealing to our guests. This was
done in many ways, some of which include:

 Using the font Brush Script MT in order the give the design a fancier look.
 Using a lighter themed color, such as gold, accent 4, lighter 80%. This was done to give a more elegant
feeling, because incorporating bright, bold colors, doesn’t have the same feel as the lighter colors, and
instead gives it an obnoxious feel compared to a calm one.
 Using the flag and incorporating everything into one logo makes it an overall well-rounded logo.

Despite this fresh start to this company, the logo received some feedback. According to Dhairya Gupta, the logo
design was pretty good, and this overall look of the pizza and pasta over the flag gave a good look, because the
flag wasn’t the complete background, but instead a part of the logo. Also, he liked how well the font matched
with the whole idea. Overall, this project went well, and the redesign of the logo was a great idea.

Sincerely,

Amitej Babra
