SUBJECT : Submission of Radio-Based Instruction Scripts

DATE : August 3, 2020

To support the Department’s initiative on the provision of learning resources for the various
learning platforms to deliver the Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELCs) specified
in the Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP), the Department of Education, in
partnership with the University of the Philippines - Los Baños, conducted a training
workshop on the development of scripts to support the Radio-based Instruction learning
modality through a School-on-the-Air Program.

In the workshop, teacher writers from the Regional and Division offices were trained on how
to transform the ADM self-learning modules into scripts and how teacher broadcasters
should deliver and record the scripts for a School-on-the-Air Program.

In line with this, the Regional CLMD Offices are requested to submit the following
documents. These documents have been developed and accomplished by the writers from
your respective region.

(1) digital copies of the scripts in MS Word format;

(2) Inventory of the RBI scripts following the attach format in Annex A; and
(3) directory of the development team

Please submit the requested documents to Ms. Judy Mendoza, BLR-PD Project Development
Officer III through this Google drive link (http://bit.do/draftrbiscripts-8) on or before
Wednesday, August 5, 2020 since the scripts will still undergo quality assurance as part of
the RBI development process.
