Rationale
Though our country has dealt with other diseases in the past, COVID 19
becomes a pandemic that greatly affects the life of many people in
different sectors including the educational system. Despite of this
unforeseen circumstance, education must continue in its most innovative
way that ensures the safety of the learners and the teachers. For this
reason, Bairan Elementary School crafted its School Learning
Continuity Plan (SLCP) as their primary response to the health, safety, and
well-being of their learners and teaching personnel.
GOAL
To fulfill the mandate of DepEd under the New
Normal Situation, Bairan ES is engaged to provide quality,
accessible, relevant and liberating education for all
anchored on the department’s Vision, Mission, and Core
Values.

The radio-based instruction (RBI) program is
an alternative learning delivery mode using
radio broadcast to deliver learning. It is a form
of distance learning, is able to expand access
to education by bringing it to where the
learners are.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
PROVISION OF FOOT BATH
All classroom will have a foot bath upon entry to
their classroom aside from those situated in the school
entrance.

Pupils will first wash their feet using a hands-free faucets


to wash away soil and mud before using the disinfectant
footbath in the main entrance.
Virus Prevention Measure
• Hygiene Kits- composed of different items as recommended by DOH. It
will be provided to each learner and school personnel before the start of
classes.
• Foot Bath- A mixture, based on the guidelines of DOH that will serve as
disinfectant which will be placed in the school entrance and each classroom.
• Face Masks and Face Shield- which will be provided by the school
• Thermal Scanner- it is necessary to test the body temperature of all
persons entering the school based on the guideline isued by DOH.
• Classroom and School Sanitation- it is a must to disinfect the classroom
and its furniture every end of the shift of classes.
• Installation of hands-free handwashing area is vital
