1. Ceiling insertion
1.1. Preparation
a. Carry the ceiling to bottom floor entrance for insertion
b. Apply hoisting sling to kick plate on car ceiling as below picture.

Check if the hooking is surely connected

1.2. Ceiling insertion


a. Insert ceiling into Hoistway.
b. Check that front & rear side of ceiling while it is laid down to car floor.

1. Use a shackle only for hoisting.


2. Check the sling status and its connection for hoisting
Caution 3. Slow down the ceiling on the car floor to prevent damage.
4. Do not stand at rear wall side of hoistway. Worker may get
an accident during hoisting

2. Car column assembly


2.1. Car column insertion
a. Bring the car column and insert into Hoistway.
b. Check the bolt holes direction for cross head assembly.

2.2. Car column assembly


a. Assemble the car column to car PLF on the car floor as below picture
b. Be careful that the ceiling is not damaged

3. Cross head assembly


3.1. Insertion of crosshead
a. Install work plate as below picture.
a) It must be installed from 1.5 m high rather than car floor.
b) It must not be interrupted when cross head is hoisted
b. After cross head assemble, remove the work plate for ceiling assemble

3.2. Hoisting of cross head


a. Assemble the yellow bracket to cross head before hoisting.

Usage: assembling X-head and ceiling
Quantity: 4EA (4 edges)
Classification: Short bracket→Front side
Long bracket → Rear side

These brackets must be removed when


car panel is assembled

b. Remove the key lock plate from cross head.

The key lock plates are assembled from


factory but they must be removed.

c. Bring the cross head to hall entrance.

Disassemble the cross head


cover for hoisting.

Load: 171.5 kg

d. Apply sling to hoisting points of cross head. (2 point)

e. Insert a cross head into hoistway

g. Check the vertical condition of car column.


h. Check the horizontal condition of crosshead
i. Tighten the bolt of car column (Top and bottom), The tighten torque is 234N.m±20%

j. Remove wire sling from cross head


k. Assemble the cross head cover again
l. Remove the working plate.

4. Ceiling assembly
4.1. Connecting of hoisting tool for hoisting
a. Apply hoisting tool and sling at ceiling (4 points)

4.3. Assembling of ceiling


a. Assemble ceiling to yellow fixing bracket of cross head

[Front side (2 points)] [Rear side (2 points)]

Use full body harness for assembling, worker may fall down into pit

b. Use safe ladder to access cross head from next floor of car assembling floor.
