The Impact of Information and Communication Technology in Our Daily Lives

Information and Communication Technology or ICT is a wider for “I.T” that applies to

all communication technologies, including internet, cellular networks, mobile phones,

computers, and other media application and services. Why did ICT become helpful? I can say

that gadget are now a big factor in our everyday life. Everything seems to be just one click away,

through your mobile phones you can buy stuffs from online shops without visiting the actual

store. Modern technologies saves us from exerting a lot of effort.

Nowadays we can not complete a day without using or dealing with our gadgets because

it become a big part of our everday routne.

As a student I am using my phone from good morning to good night but I am not saying

that I use it all the time, what I mean is that I use my phone to set an alarm that’s why it is the

first thing I touch when I wake up in the morning. It is also the last thing I touch before I go to

sleep.

Modern technologies are good for us in many ways but for some reason it is also harmful

for our health and for out nature. We should practice using our modern technologies moderately

and discipline ourself not to abuse it, because abusing it means taking our mother natures gift for

granted.
 This era is like a new version of an android phone at first everything was in the trial and

error stage and then every year our technologies are upgrading. Time will come that everything

in this world will be complex operated, whre everything is hightect and upgraded.

Some people has a difference perspective when it comes to our Technology now. Some

people say that, the technology is not good but some people say it’s good for them. No one can

scape from the need of technology in our life, and that is really we’re facing right now. There’s a

lot of point of view when it comes to using our technology now. But sometimes, I agree to the

both side there’s a good impact and good impact itself. What is the importance in our life? Why

it is important?

Being a student, I’m going to discuss first the advantage and dis advantage of technology

in Education fot the teachers, researchers, students, and School Administration. First, teachers

can search material teaching, they don’t need to have to go to the library to look for information

and go to guidance office to check the announcement because they can check on their messenger.

And they can also participate in online forums and online conferences as well as to aid their

teaching. And, the very important thing is we’re using technology now because of this pandemic

are we facing right now. Second, the students like me we can communicate to our friends, to

browse the internet for more information, and also to participate online classes like what are we

doing right now. Next, for the researchers, before the researchers collect ang process data

manually using file system but now they can use computer to collect and process data and also

the organized data ang information can be store in computer. Lastly, to our beloved School

Administration, they can use technology for administrative purposes.

We don’t deny that technology has a good impact in our daily life. We all know that a

world without Information and Communication Technology means we don’t have any
information and we don’t know about events. People are now engaging in ICT like it’s a part of

life. We can’t even think world without ICT because people using it for various purposes.

Besides, ICT gives us lots of upportunity to learn valuable things.
