    Given with the current situation of the CoVid19 pandemic, I am strongly alarmed by the
    harm that this could cause not only to myself, but also my colleagues and the families
    we come home to. I am living with my grandparents that are vulnerable to such contact,
    I don’t want to put them in a situation whereas their health would be compromised.

    I wanted to confirm to you in writing as what we have discussed, I would like to request
    a formal leave of absence from my job. I plan to be away from August 30, 2020 to
    September 31, 2020, returning to work on October 1, 2020.

    I would be available to answer questions and provide assistance while I am away. You
