The data above the show the percentage distribution of ownership residency in
Barangay Sto. Nino Nacoco Calapan City. There are 83.90% of family who live in
their own houses, 3.20% for rent and 12.90% of family living in shared houses.

There are many reason why are living in a certain place, one of these is because
we are born there and don’t want to live anywhere else. Some people say their
working area is nearer in their location and also they have lots of memories and
unforgettable experiences in the place.
Each family, we surveyed have their own reason in living in Sto. Nino Nacoco for
almost a month, year and decade. They have grown up and developed in
Barangay with love, peace and unity.

House is a building that functions as a home. They can range from simple
dwellings such as rudimentary huts of nomadic tribes and shacks in shantytowns
to complex, fixed structure of wood, brick, concrete or other materials containing
plumbing, ventilation and electrical system.

Based on the graph tallied, the majority which is 58% has mixed
construction materials because they can’t afford to buy expensive materials and
all of them have no source of income.

Most of the families surveyed have only 2 rooms in their house, if one of the
member of the family have a problem to health condition, this could lead to wide
spread of microorganism. Close contact will eventually lead to faster
transmission of simple virus like the flu which could lead to other forms of
diseases.

Electricity plays a very important role in our daily life. This is because without it,
we wouldn’t have an easier way of living life.
Based on the data gathered of lightning facilities, electricity got the highest
percentage of 93.54% because they said it helps in lessening the burden of
doing household chore, thus, making it easier to finish.

Among the 31 surveyed families for ventilation, poor condition deemed as the
highest while good condition got 32.26% only.
Many of families in Barangay Nacoco calapan city is living in a poor condition
and management of wastes. Mild to severe fever lasting from a few days to
several weeks, and some of the families use good sanitation, for any social and
economic development adequate sanitation in conjunction with good hygiene and
safe water are essential to good health, it is especially important for children.

Most of the citizen surveyed they used public water which is means a free flowing
water coming from water well are hose.
Especially to those children it could result to diameter and gastrointestinal infect,
some of them says that it is easier to get water and its free and no payment.

Majority of the families surveyed have used firewood,

this could lead to health problems such as in
respiratory problems, it is also prone fire accidents.
There are many reason why they used firewood,
some people say, they can’t afford to buy gas stove,
and other say that they can save money if they use
fireword.

main reason why garbage from a community is immediately pick-up is to promote

environmental sanitation as well as to prevent any origin and transmission of
disease brought by stucking. This is also time for the families of the community
we have interviewed fortified by the law R.A that torbits the stucking of garbage
in the communit.

There are many reasons why houses have various toilets, like private and
common. The families that were interviewed have there toilets, the main reason
why they have common toilet for family use. By doing this, the transmission of
microorganism will be minimize, because the level of hygiene.

Animals are the living organism that feed on organic matter. Typically, having
specialized organs and nervous system to respond rapidly to stimuli. Most of the
people surveyed the families interviewed they say that the purpose of a dog is to
guard the possession of the owners from unwanted or unexpected person. Also
dog is the man best friend.

The purpose of families is to maintain the well-being of its members. Ideally

families would provide Abraham maslow’s hierarcy needs of physiologic, safety,
love and belonginess, that are precursor to develop self-esteem sharing the
chance to gain to win self-actualization.
The majority of this surveyed people, the highest member of family is 8 which is
equivalent to 25.80% it is the ideal number of the family according to Philippines
statistics authority.

The table and graph above show the percentage distribution of status of the
surveyed families at Barangay Sto. Niño, Nacoco, Calapan City. Among 31
family, there are 23% that are elementary graduate; 29% are high school
graduate;16% are college graduate; 12% are high school undergraduate; 9% are
elementary undergraduate; 2% are college undergraduate; 1% are day care
graduate while 8% have no educational attainment.

According to Philippines statistic authority with their educational

attainment census 2010 of the total house hold of the population 29% had finish
high school, 12% are high school undergraduate and 15.88% were academic
degree holders. A lot of high school graduates are still incapable to continue in
college because of their poor economic status.
