RE: Request for Assistance on the Community Monitoring of Distance

Learning by Division Supervisors

S I R:

I am pleased to inform you that the Schools Division Office - Navotas City has successfully carried
out the pre-school opening activities of our Learning Continuity Program. With the Navoschool-in-a-
Box delivered to all learners' households in the city and with parents and guardians already oriented
on the new normal teaching and learning processes, SDO Navotas expects a smooth transition to
distance learning for school-year 2020-2021.

As we embark on the new way of curriculum delivery amidst the health crisis, SDO Navotas is
committed to ensure the learning continuity of our learners through the community monitoring of
distance learning. In this activity, division education program supervisors and public schools district
supervisors shall check and evaluate the level of engagement of learners, parents and teachers in the
distance learning process through household visitation and interview following health and safety
protocols.

In view of this, may we request the assistance of our barangay captains in providing security
personnel for our supervisors. With your support, our personnel shall be able to safely carry out
their tasks and be able to gather data and make important assessment for the continuous improvement
of our distance learning modalities towards the attainment of higher learning outcomes. The dates of
the monitoring will be on October 7, 21; November 11 & 25 and December 09, 2020.

Attached is the schedule of the community monitoring and the tool. We look forward to your
favorable response on this request.
