Project: Wilmont’s Pharmacy’s Drone Project Revision No. : 00

Purpose: The purpose of this scope statement is to design and develop prototype drones that will be used for delivering medical prescriptions to
customers in the San Francisco area.

Project Goals: To efficiently deliver Wilmont’s pharmacy’s products and services to it’s customers. The success of this project will result in further
drone technology development for other locations under Wilmont’s pharmacy’s area of operation.

Project Scope Description:

• Product Scope –
1. Customize DroneTech Systems’ systems, interfaces, and Business processes to meet Wilmont’s Pharmacy’s requirements.
2. Engineer a drone to Wilmont’s pharmacy’s specifications, with special adaptation for the planned temperature-controlled product bagging system
along with the bubble-type cushioning system for the customer delivery packaging.

• Services Scope -
1. Handle piloting the drones and delivery of the products.
2. Interface communications about deliveries for Wilmont’s customers electronically through email, and mobile alerts as per the customer’s
requests.

Primary Deliverables:
1. Customization of DroneTech’s existing interface to Wilmont’s to accommodate order entry, communication of delivery confirmation.
2. Customization of DroneTech’s existing systems to Wilmont’s.
3. Customization of DroneTech’s existing business processes to Wilmont’s.
4. Modification of drone to include a temperature-controlled product bagging system and a bubble-type cushioning system.
Service Deliverables :
1. Fly drone for Wilmont’s pharmacy during prescriptions and drugstore items delivery.
2. Ensure Wilmont’s information is uncompromised in the project delivery process.
Deliverable Acceptance Criteria:
Product Deliverables-
1. Meet Wilmont’s requirements to accommodate product entry and communication of delivery confirmation.
2. Meet the requirement of customizing DroneTech’s existing systems to Wilmont’s.
3. Meet the requirement of customizing DroneTech’s existing business processes to Wilmont’s.
4. Meet the requirement of modifying DroneTech’s drone to include a temperature-controlled product bagging system and a bubble-type
cushioning system.

Service Deliverables-
1. Assign and fly drone for Wilmont to project specification.
2. Uncompromised Wilmont information.

Key Milestones:
• Project Start : January 05, 2020
• Drone Design : January 28, 2020
• Drone Development : April 11, 2020
• Flight Operations Enhancement and Interfaces : May 01, 2020
• Stakeholder Project status update : June 27, 2020
• Testing and implementation : September 13, 2020
• Project close : November 30, 2020

Constraints:
• Contract negotiation is pending : Agreement on all aspects of the services to be provided, and/ or the cost of the services is not yet
reached between Wilmont and Dronetech.

Assumptions:
1. In-house budget cap (by Jordan Kempler, CEO, DroneTech)
2. All materials/parts are sourced inhouse – DroneTech and WIlmont’s pharmacy.

Scope Exclusions:
• Billing rates for Wilmont’s personnel involved will not be included.
