SURFACE DRAIN

Supply, construct and complete drains with

225mm diameter half round HRGW drain
channel on 250mm thick mass concrete
bedding Grade 20 as base with a layer BRC,
50mm thick lean concrete, 100mm thick
compacted hardcore, common bricks on both
sides of drain with 25mm thick cement and
sand plastering at exposed surfaces, 100mm
diameter PVC pipe weephole at 3000mm
centres with aggregate filter material
wrapped with polyfelt TS 500, 125mm x 125mm
x 600mm long precast concrete strut at
3000mm centres, 37m long x 15 mild steel
bars at 1000mm centres and including all
necessary excavation and part return fill
in and ram and cart away surplus material
and deposit, spread and level as specified
all as per detail drawing numbered as

A 450mm Wide drain with average depth

exceeding 450mm and not exceeding 600mm
