Role and Responsibilities

In close collaboration and coordination with the distributor:
- Implement country busines plan to drive growth and achieve primary and secondary sales
objectives.
- Identify, develop and manage wholesalers, stockies & sub distributors across the country.
- Drive effective pan country distribution.
- Explore market opportunities for business growth.
- Responsible for recruiting and coaching local sales/promotion team.
- Monitor local stock for adequate service of the market.
- Conduct in-depth research on end user usages, competitors' products, pricing, and market
trends to gain insight into customer preferences and interests.
- Drive end user connect activities to ensure effective product promotion.

Candidate Profile
- ​MBA in Marketing
- 7 to 8 years' experience in sales management & marketing
- Experience should be in consumer goods, construction chemicals, etc...
- Should have experience working either with manufacturer or pan country distributor
- Should have experience of handling at least a team of 5 -6 people in the last 2 - 3 years.
- Should have a decent understanding of the topography of the country
- Good understanding of the business culture of the country
- Proven track record in achieving sales objectives in Cameroon
- Should have the ability to develop and manage pan country distribution.
- Language: French and professional English is a must, local language is a big plus
- The candidate must demonstrate effective communication skills
- The candidate should possess computer skills (Windows, MS office)
- Should be a self-starter and should have the ability to create manpower/bandwidth as the
business evolves.
