“If %stacker speed reference missing% error comes, cold

restart of the plc is to be done.”

Procedure for cold restart for B&R plc

1. Switch off the stacker power.

2. Make the “CAN ID no: switch to 00(previously it is pointing
01).
3. Switch on the power and wait for 2 minutes.
4. Switch off the power and make the CAN ID no to 01.
5. Switch on the power and start the stacker.

After cold restart the password will be reset, so for going to the system screen enter the
password screen and delete all the appearing stars and enter. Then go to “General “option
screen and change the password to 0338.

Cold restart of other B&R plcs can also be done by the above said
procedure. Please take care to note the CAN ID no before cold start.
