Operating Instructions for: set value adjustment

print 4039.0001

1. Turn the main breaker off.

2. Check the jumpers on the set value print:

3. Turn trimmer „low Offset“ completely counterclockwise

until you hear a slight „click“.
Turn trimmer „high Offset“ completely clockwise until you hear
a slight „click“.

4. Cover TP1 with tape to avoid short circuit with TP2

5. Connect voltmeter to the set value print

+ terminal to TP2

- terminal to GND

6. Turn the main breaker on.

7. Turn the operating mode switch on the operating panel to MAN

and the speed indication potentiometer to its minimum speed.
Set the trimmer R7 on the set value print until the voltmeter indicates
0V.
Set the trimmer „low Offset“ on the set value print until the voltmeter
indicates approximately 2V.

8. Check the LENZE drive parameters, if the parameter C10 (min. field
frequency) is 0V and C11 (max. field frequency) is corresponding
with the electrical diagram.

9. Turn the operating mode switch on the operating panel to AUTO

and speed the previous machine (Alphaliner, Newsgrip etc.) up to

its maximum speed.

10. Measure the belt speed of the previous machine. Adjust with the
trimmer of the active input (T 1, T 2, I 1, I 2) to the same speed
as the previous machine.

If the speed can not be reached and the voltmeter indicates less
than 10V, you have to increase the overall amplification with the
trimmer „Gain“. If the voltmeter indicates 10V or more you have to
increase max. field frequency on the LENZE drive (parameter
C11. If the difference is to big check the type and function of the
tachogenerator or encoder.

11. Set the speed of the previous machine to 50% and check the
Stacker infeed belt speed. Max. difference +/- 5%.

12. Switch the previous machine off and turn the operating mode
switch on the operating panel to MAN.

13. Set the speed indication potentiometer on the operating panel to

minimum and adjust the minimum speed on the set value print
with the trimmer „low Offset“.
The minimum speed of the Stacker infeed belt depends on the
products.

Attention: The minimum speed should never be below the factory

setting to avoid a overheat on the motor.

14. Set the speed indication potentiometer on the operating panel to

maximum and set the Stacker infeed belt speed with the
trimmer „high Offset“ to its maximum speed.

15. If you have several previous machines, you have to set the set value
print first with the fastest machine (point 1 to 14) and than the
other machines (point 9 to 11 only).
