PROCEDURE FOR USING 2.

2KW MICRO MASTER


DRIVE IN PLACE OF ALTIVAR 11
(MOSCA TRANSPORT BELT DRIVE)

 DISCONNECT THE 230 VOLTS INCOMING SUPPLY AND OUTGOING MOTOR


CONNECTIONS OF ALTIVAR11
 NOTE THE CONTROL CONNECTIONS OF THE ALTIVAR11
 READING FROM LEFT CONNECTORS
1. DRIVE STATUS FEED BACK TO PLC.
2. 24V +VE CONTROL POWER.
3. DUMMY
4. 24V -VE CONTROL POWER.
5. STRAP TIGHTENING MOTOR FEED BACK .
6. DUMMY
7. DUMMY
8. DRIVE ENABLE FROM PLC.
9. DUMMY
10. DUMMY
11. DUMMY
12. DUMMY
 NOW CONNECT THE 2.2KW MICROMASTER DRIVE WITH EXTERNAL 3PHASE SUPPLY
 THE FOLLOWING CHANGES TO BE DONE IN CONTROL SIDE OF MOSCA
1. CONNECTOR NO 1 AND 2 REMOVED WIRES SHOULD BE MADE SHORT
FOR AVOIDING DRIVE ERROR INDICATION. OR CAN BE GIVEN TO “NO”OF
MMV FAULT RELAY CONTACTS.
2. A SEPARATE 24V RELAY TO BE PROVIDED FOR STOP AND START
ENABLING OF DRIVE .
3. 4 TH CONNECTOR REMOVED WIRE TO BE GIVEN IN RELAY A-ve
4. 8 TH CONNECTOR TO BE GIVEN TO THE A+ OF THE RELAY
5. 5TH WIRE NOT USED TO BE SECURED WITH TAPE.
6. ONE “NO” OF RELAY IS CONNECTED IN STOP LOOP OF MMV DRIVE.
 THE FOLLWING PARAMETERS TO BE CHANGED IN MMV DRIVE
1. P080---------POWER FACTOR
2. P081---------FREQUENCY
3. P082---------RPM
4. P083---------CURRENT
5. P084---------VOLTS
6. P085---------POWER
7. P002---------RAMP UP TIME------3.4
8. P070---------BRAKING RESISTOR DUTY CYCLE-------4
9. P075----------BRAKING CHOPPER ENABLE-------0(AN EXTERNAL BRAKING
RESISTOR IS NOT CONNECTED.
 AFTER CHANGING THE PARAMETERS SWITCH OFF THE POWER AND ON AGAIN.
 NOW MOTOR CAN BE RUN USING MMV DRIVE.
 CHANGE THE FREQUENCY USING POT IF NECESSARY.(WE KEPT AT 50HZ)
