COURSE INTENDED LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the end of the course, the students should be able to:

1. Explain the cruise tourism role in economic development and analyze its impact to the environment, and culture.
2. Recognize the ship anatomy and facilities of cuise ship and be familiar on the cruise ships documentation process, safety and special passenger needs.
3. Name and identify different regions, ports, and cruise destinations and describe the destinations’ unique offerings and features
4. Exemplify the concept of sustainable development and identify the best practices to employ sustainability in cruise ship industry.
