Dear Sir/Mam,

Greetings!! We hope you’re doing well

JECRC Alumni Association is dedicated to strengthening and working to encourage our alumni and
walk side-by-side with you on your journey. We have always focused on connecting, supporting, and
coordinating with the global network of graduates.

We all are aware of how pandemic has affected our India & entire world, In these tough times JECRC
alumni cell is running a campaign to acknowledge the work done by startups of JECRC alumni. The
Alumni Association plans to provide on-board support to alumni startups through various encouraging
resources;encourage participation in programs to enhance your overall welfare.

This is a unique campaign which presents an opportunity to add value & funding to your startup in
various ways:

● JECRC will acknowledge your works with various awards which will be “JECRC Startup
Awards”.
● JECRC will launch a startup magazine named “Trail Blazers” in which all the startups of JECRC
will be featured. I.e growth stories, success stories, triumph stories etc.

JECRC Alumni Cell invites entries from established startups set up by our alumni.
On the basis of the factors below the selected entities will be categorised on various factors & scales.

In this campaign we are asking for your testimonials, vision of your startup, stats of how you’re building
society, share your triumphs stories, which will be taken as the factors of awards. Our vision is to bring
you value while directly influencing the growth and effectiveness of the Institution for others in need.

This also enables your startup to apply for funding in “DEMO DAY project by Govt of India” & you can
avail help in connecting with incubators, accelerators, corporates, mentors etc.

In partnership with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Govt of India, we
have been entrusted to provide financial support to Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EiR), Nascent Start-
ups as well as Start-ups that are ready for Commercialization for next 5 years, as per the details
outlined hereunder:

1. Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EiR): 4 EiRs per year with a total of 20 EiRs with allocation of INR 4
Lac per EiR, for validation and development of idea.
2. Grant: 4 Grants per year with a total of 20 Grants with allocation of INR 7 Lac per Grant, for
Prototype Development.

3. Investment: Allocation of each Investment is of INR 40 Lacs, for product development and market
outreach, for (around) 6 startups during the project duration of 5 years.

We recently did our 1st demo day out of 10 demo days and 9 more demo days in the coming 5 years.

Any startup from India can avail the benefits of this scheme. JECRC came out from a nascent stage and
since then we have been growing lately & achieved an advanced stage now & since last 2 & half years
JECRC has focussed on growing its startup ecosystem.

In the first demo day 4 startups received fundings of 4 lacs each and more is scheduled in upcoming
months about which we will keep you posted.

Thus, we will be supporting more than 40+ startups of India during the next 5 years, working in the
domain of Healthcare, Education, Agriculture, Digital Payments, Infrastructure, Transportation,
Environment, Clean Technology, Clean Energy Solutions, ICT and other emerging technologies.

We meet several times a year to plan programs and discuss ways we can further cultivate alumni
participation in the Institution. In fact, during the last several years, we have sponsored numerous
professional and educational events, receptions and social events for informal socializing and
networking. The response to our past events has been extremely positive and we are pleased to
provide opportunities such as these to bring alumni of the JECRC together.

In any case, wherever you go in the world, you always have a place at JECRC. On behalf of the JECRC
