There are two main point in this chapter

1. Greeting card

2. Invitation card

1. Greeting card
Greeting card is a letter (usually decorated with pictures) that are

used to congratulate, pray for someone, and so on. The form of

greeting cards such as greeting cards, greeting card grief/sympathy,

and get-well greeting cards. There are many kinds of greeting cards,

such as:

a. New baby born (kelahiran bayi)

b. Birthday/return of the day (ulang tahun)

c. Graduation/finishing study/getting new degree (kelulusan)

d. Inauguration (wisuda/pelantikan)

e. Getting new job (mendapat pekerjaan baru)

f. Winning the contest (menang lomba)

g. New years eve (tahum baru)

h. Circumcision (khitanan)

2. Invitation card
Invitation card is a cad given to someone to invite them to do

something or go somewhere. The purpose of invitation card is to

invite someone or more to come to an event. There are two types of

invitation, formal invitation and informal invitation.

a. Formal invitation

Formal invitation is usually originate from institutes,

companies, and a kind of it. Normally formal invitation is written

invitation.
b. Informal invitation

Informal invitation is personal invitation given to a friend,

family, etc. This is the example of informal invitation.

Thank you for accepting our invitation to be the guest speaker for our meeting on
November 22nd 2020 at the Four Points Hotel, 123 Kings Street, Kingston, Ontorio.
We look forward to your presentation on the latest developments in the area of
International Shipment Tracking. We invite you to be our guest for lunch at 1.00 pm.
The training seminar begins at 3.00 pm, with an hour and half allocated for your
presentation. There will be a question and answer period after your presentation.

Kindly let us know what types of equipment you will need for your presentation. The
seminar room is equipped with a computer and a multimedia projector should you
require one. Should you prefer to use your own equipment, kindly let us know as well,
so that we can ensure that we are well prepared.
