 Submitted her lesson plan before the observation.
To improve:
Less communication with the MCT, Nouf just started to contact me this
week.

Comments:
 Nouf you have explained what you are going to do in the lesson, but you
need to add more details about the activity. As well as, you need to write
the questions that you will ask your students.
 Nouf , please aim to improve the quality of your written lesson plan:
 Should be more detailed (someone should be able to teach the
lesson by following your lesson plan).
 The lesson plan should include the list of questions that you will be
asking students.
 Write the instructions of the activity that you will give the students.

Comments:
 Nouf your voice was clear and loud.
 Nouf the students were very interactive and listening to you.
 Nouf kept the students busy and involved with the class work.
 Nouf uses some rewarding words like (excellent, good job, well-done).
To improve:
Try to encourage the students you should call their names and ask them to
participate.
Set a timer for the activity.
Don’t keep the screen blank for long time, make sure there is always something
to display.

Comments:

 Nouf starts her class by welcoming the students.


 Nouf asks the students what is today. (Nouf you can’t ask the students
and screen blank, either you show your face and ask them, ok you
need to open a PowerPoint screen which has the date and day,
remember always the kids especially they lose their interest if they see
black screen they should be something from the beginning of the
class).
 Then, Nouf plays a song about the lesson.
 She presents a PowerPoint about Prepositions
 She explains about the prepositions.
 Then Nouf, shows the students the online worksheet, she gives
instructions of the activity.
 Nouf says you have 10 minutes to do the activity (why you don’t
display a timer, how the students will know how many left from 10
minutes).

Comments:
 To assess student’s understanding Nouf provides students with different
tasks related to the lesson concept.

Comments:
 Nouf was able to make very astute observations about her own strengths
and weaknesses! For this reason, I know that her progress will be
significant in her future teaching lesson.

Action plan:
 Improve your teaching.
 Show your face or display any screen don’t keep it blank.
 Use timer, when the students work on a task.
