ARGUMENTATIVE ESSAY

DIRECTIONS: Write an argumentative essay regarding this question. Are you in favour of legalizing
marriage among homosexuals and transgenders? Why? [ Agree or Disagree ]

Yes, I agree because why not? If two people homosexual and transgender love each other, aren't
minors, and not blood related then they are free to get married. They have the rights to choose who
they want to be with or who they want to spend their lives into.

I believe that two consenting adults should be able to get married, whether they are gay, straight,
transgender, or anything else. Marriage is a way of showing the world how much you love the other
person and should be available to everyone. If two people decide to make a life long commitment to
each other, we should accept and support that instead of worrying what they might have between their
legs and what they might do in private.

A homosexual and transgender person is a person, a human being, the same as you or anyone else.
No one should have more rights than other human being, marriage between people of the same sex is a
gigantic step for humanity, a step towards the recognition of the rights of the individual and self-
determination. My life is not affected by what others do unless they are doing harm to me and in my
life.
