EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The business proposed namely "HK-MRC" or "Health ‘KIER’ Mini

Recreational Center | Park & recreation| " which will identify the essential
needs of enhancement of physical, social and mental health in the
community of Padada, Davao del Sur as its primary interest. The
proposed center will focus on its effort on the development of individuals
and will provide the best quality of engagement and opportunity for the
people to be active.
Focused on healthcare engagement in an inclusive community, the said
business which will be leading to take advantage to help the people to be
physically, socially, and mentally fit, because each one of us these days,
are vulnerable to the risks of the advancement of technologies. They
spend hours for work, going home late at night and many more. They
have already facing lots of physical, mental, emotional and social
disturbances, which is not good to our health.
The proposed Recreational Activity Center will become an important
element in modern life. It provides pleasures for the people of Padada.
The center aims to help the people to utilize their free time/ leisure time
in a constructive manner. Unique in the recreation and leisure industry is
what we will manage. These are not time consuming but time using.
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

The major problem of the people of Padada which they enjoy a lot of
things provided by the advancement of technological development. This
advance technological development has provided all kinds of comforts
based on what people need. It reduces a lot of dependence of each other
that causes social problems, it reduces physical work that causes physical
problem, working on machines may causes mental problems. At the same
time, the advancement in recreational gadgets like T.V, cellphones or
computer games have made people least interested in physical activity.
Resulting in so many health problems and most of them do recreational
games in their own way but it is risky for them without proper venue
because they are just playing in the streets, walking in the side lane of the
highway.
The place they played is not recommendable and most especially some of
them played alone. The playground of Padada is not accessible anymore
it is because of what happened last December 2020 where a 6.9
magnitude earthquake hit the said locality. Without shared play facilities,
the people especially the children are not able to meet and make friends
with their peers. They need proper venue and must engage fun activities
which relieve stress, restore our energy, have an opportunity to play or
interact with other people and promote a sense of joy.
PROPOSED SOLUTION

"Health ‘KIER’ Mini Recreational Center | Park & recreation| " provides
opportunities for physical activity and recreation in a safe, and inclusive
environment. Building accessible playgrounds, destination gardens and
playing field will allow each member of the community of Padada
regardless of age, to have a safe space to play outdoors with their peers.
While cultivating a culture of health and well-being in the community
they serve, the center is not just built for physical or mental health but
also built for social health which is one of the most important aspects to
increase personal confidence, self-awareness and self-esteem.
The Center will provide equal access to all citizens regardless of age,
gender, socioeconomic status, ethnicity or ability.
The work on Health engagement will happen in “HK-MRC” will be located
in Padada, Davao del Sur specifically near the School of Southeastern
College, Inc. The chosen place is suitable for the said Recreational activity
Center since the location is large, surrounded by trees and plants and
easy to find. Since the municipality of Padada don’t have any playground
or park in the población, this will be a chance of each member of the
community to be relax and enjoy.
SHARED QUALIFICATIONS

As a business minded person, and based on what I have observed in the

municipality of Padada, most of the people learned and played together
and embraces each other differences. This proposed project with the
several different play areas will promote cooperative play. This center will
become one of the recommended, affordable, and efficient provider of
the refreshment for the mind and body which is necessary to have in the
community.
The said business proposed will collaborate with LGU of Padada to help in
funding and to partner with other organizations such as PGA(Padada
Gays Association), PTA(Padada Tennis Association) and etc.,. The main
purpose to partner with others is to collaborate in gaining resources such
as funding, apparatus, and etc., in order to provide facilities or services,
community contribution, and political sensitivity needed for the
community.

PRICING

Upon entering the center, required payment for the entrance fee is 50
per head.
Terms and conditions

Upon signing the contract, it is important to understand carefully the

said business proposal.

Signing of Contract Policy

Upon entering the center, you are freely and voluntarily assuming
the risk and hazards inherent to the nature of the activities. The said
center will be provided safety and protection to each client they will
cater.

All customers or stakeholders of the Recreational Center are

required to fill up the form for health status upon entering the center.
For customers agreement

Outside Food and Beverage

Coolers and outside foods and beverages are prohibited. Food
service options will available for sale inside the said Center. No food or
drink is permitted in the facility areas, except for water bottles and
sports drinks.

Facility Guidelines!

1. All customers are expected to act in a courteous, caring, respectful

and responsible manner.
2. Verbally abusive behavior or vulgar language may result of penalty or
immediate pull out from the building.
3. Harassment or any type of menacing behavior may also result of
penalty or immediate pull out from the building
4. Age under 12 and below must be guided by direct supervision of the
guardian.
5. School hours is prohibited for students who will enter the Center
without a valid reason.
6. HK-MRC is not responsible for items that are lost, stolen or damaged.
All customers are highly encourage to leave valuables things in home.
7. The said center is nonsmoking area. It may result of penalty or
immediate pull out from the center.
8. Bringing harmful things and sharp objects are not allowed inside the
Center.
9. In case of an accident or incident, a staff member must be notified
and report to the appropriate department head, the customer must be
claimed since the location of the center is near also to the
establishment of Red Cross team of Padada.
