Transmitter shall be capable of withstanding over range pressure on either side of capsule, equal to the body rating

General

3 Each transmitter shall have marker nameplate detailing type/model/range/certication/serial no. etc permanently attached
4 Transmitters and manifolds shall be from KOC approved VEC list.
5 Hazard area certificates, Material and calibration certificates shall be supplied.
6 All wetted parts shall be NACE MR-01-75 / ISO 15156 Latest edition compliant.

7 Each transmitter shall meet the requirements of spec of General Instruments 015-JH-1903 and KOC-I-001 and KOC-I-002

8 Mechanical isolation philosophy shall follow P&IDs and 015-AH-1003( i.e, double block and bleed valves)
9 Canopy shall be provided for all Electronic Instruments
10 All the Transmitters shall fully comply with General Instrument Specification 015-JH-1903
11 The Housing material shall be suitable for the environmental conditions specified in the Basic Design Data "KOC-G-007".
Vendor to ensure that all the Instruments are suitable for the design conditions specified in the relevant datasheets. Over-range

protection shall be provided as necessary.
Field Instruments shall be calibrated in Imperial units. Scales shall be Dual Range (Metric & Imperial) with metric unit given

prominence.
14 All the Transmitters shall be ATEX certified.
15 The materials for the Bolts & Nuts, Drain & vent shall be the same as element material.
16 Vendor shall supply the necessary mounting accessories, in SS316 suitable for mounting the transmitter in 2" pipe.
17 All the spare cable entries shall be plugged with the certified SS plug.
Wherever indicated in the datasheets, the transmitters with HART protocol shall be suitable for use in SIL loops as required by

IEC-61508 and IEC-61511

19 .PFD,MTBF,MTTR values of all transmitters to be provided by vendor during the detail engineering stage for SIL verification.

20 Vendor shall provide SS Tag plate as well as Name plate as per KOC specification 015-JH-1903.
21 Tag plates shall be screwed and not glued.
2 Valve Manifold shall be used for Pressure transmitters. The Manifold material shall be same as element material, with
22 process connection size 1/2"NPT(F) and drain connection 1/4" NPT(F). Vendor shall supply transmitter along with the
manifold as a single assembled unit.
The Soft tag inside the transmitters shall be as per the below philosophy in order to meet the constraints of HART. Vendor to

follow existing philosophy during configuration.
24 Vendor shall consider NACE MR 0175/ISO 15156 requirements for the pressure transmitters
25 The Minimum acceptable Ingress Protection for all the Pressure transmitters shall be IP-65.
