Villalon, Hannah S.

During this time of global crisis, as the world faces its greatest threat we all have to fight
this war or be defeated and face our untimely demise. All lives were tremendously affected by
the plague and it imposed immense damage to every aspect of it. But little did we realize is that
the most affected people in this battle are the marginalized communities particularly the
economically disadvantaged households. They are at especially greater risk in contracting the
infectious disease because of their vulnerability for several reasons. That being said, the people
with low income or are economically incapable, are at great risk because they lack the privilege
to accessibility of healthcare provision and services. Thus, there are several and immediate
actions that need to be taken in order to help these vulnerable people from economically
disadvantaged groups of the marginalized areas of the community.
The outbreak of COVID-19 is absolutely unexpected and we all don’t have any ideas
about it. And the dissemination of false information is being rampant and the people who are
from these marginalized areas just take the information that they heard without even analyzing if
it is factual or not. As it has been said in the case analysis, we are not just fighting against the
pandemic, but we are also fighting against “infodemic”. The intervention for this problem would

supplies that are significant for health care. Implementing health programs for the interventions
aforementioned, should be established to help people during this time of pandemic. The
economically or low income members of the community are said to be vulnerable because they
cannot afford for their health care, the level of educational attainment could possible be enough
to grasp and understand things that are happening, they reside in heavily polluted areas where
the environment is unclean and the congestion of the population is very high that it permits the
rapid transmission of the disease for less than a time it would be for the organized part of the
community.
With the existence of these aforementioned conditions the people who reside in this type
of community are unfortunately at high risk of not just infection from the outbreak of the new
virus, but also with other chronic illnesses that can be detrimental to anyone’s health. The
objective and outcome goal of the given interventions as the proposed solutions for their
problem should be well supervised and established. Therefore, in order to give help to the
needy, the cooperation of
