Product

“MaiSquash”

The business is promoting a product called MaiSquash. The word “Mai” comes from the

word Siomai and “Squash” which is the main ingredient of the said product. It is not like the

traditional siomai because the owners innovated this product and put some twists to satisfy the

customers.

Features and Characteristics

Compared to the other siomai, the product contains vegetables. Unlike the traditional

siomai which contains a lot of meat, MaiSquash contains less meat and a lot of Squash. The main

ingredients are Squash and miracle leaves. The squash makes the taste different from the other

siomai. Its smooth texture also helps to improve the product. Its shape is rounded-shaped and

wrapped by a siomai wrapper that can buy in the market.

MaiSquash is a good source of many important vitamins and minerals that is good to our

body. It gives many health benefits such as: it helps to boosts the immune system, improve bones

and eye health, helps reduce gastric and duodenal ulcer, and helps to improve blood circulation.

Packaging

The container that is used is the common paper plate that is curved so that it is easy to hold

and the soy sauce will not leak. Its longer size also helps to serve and place the siomai well and

to avoid the product from deforming.

Branding
Business name is one great factors that make a business a successful one. With the name

itself, it can attract the customers as well as the investors. It can be easily recognized if the

business name gives a great impact and leaves a mark to the customers.

The name of the business is “Pumpkin House”. The owners came up with this business

name because they want to emphasize the main ingredient of the product, which is the squash

(pumpkin). They also want the customers to be comfortable and feel at home while eating

MaiSquash, the reason why there is a “house” on the logo.

The colors used in the logo is inspired by the colors of ingredients of the MaiSquash.

This lively colors is chosen so that the customers will recognize the product easily and they want

to emphasize the main ingredients of MaiSquash, which is the squash.
