ENLISTING OF TEACHERS TO HEROES 2021

(Help Educators Rise to Online Education for SY 2020-2021)

1. DepEd IV-A CALABARZON announces the conduct of HEROES 2021 (Help

Educators Rise to Online Education for SY 2020-2021) program by batches on
specified schedule.

2. This course is a 3 module self-paced teacher up-skilling program that is ideal

for educators who have never taught an online course before and this shall also
consider different components of an online course and how to manage them through
the use of technology available.

3. The course is open to all interested public school teachers, who shall be
endorsed/recommended by their school heads based on availability of funds. List of
recommendees shall be consolidated by sub-offices in a google sheet shared to
rizal.hrd@deped.gov.ph on or before January 04, 2021.

4. A virtual launching of the aforementioned program will be held on January

12, 2021 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. Online link shall be provided before the launching.

5. A registration fee of 500 pesos shall be charged per participant relative to the
conduct of the Phase 2 activity chargeable against school MOOE or any other
sources subject to usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations. Attached
Regional Memorandum No. 20-543 and a brochure for the registration process and
overview of the course outline and other pertinent information.

6. Immediate dissemination of this memorandum is desired.
