DULOG is a project that illustrate teachers’ unconditional love to their students. This
project help the teachers fully understand the situation of the students. One of its description
is that it is a form of home visitation, a simple practice usually done by the teachers, but due
to the current situation, because of pandemic were home visitation is quite difficult, it
becomes a special project that entails teachers unconditional love to their students. Teachers
are still performing their duties and responsibilities despite the danger brought by the
pandemic, and it’s really amazing how the teachers do these things. DULOG is not simply a
form of home visitation but it is also a learning intervention. It is one of the best practice
that teachers do in order to check on the real scenario of learners specially nowadays that
face to face learning is not possible. This program is aligned in the goal of DepEd Order No.
12 s. of 2020 which is to allow schools to implement interventions for bridging learning
gaps and give time to teachers for the different learning modalities.
Teachers devote their unconditional love to their students by visiting their home and have a
dialogue with their parents or guardians. Teachers listen to the parents or guardians to come
up with an agreement that offer a solution to a certain problem or helped the students in
whatever problem they’ve encountered.
Below is the design of the t-shirt.
• Provide the opportunity to observe the family’s situation and identify any
indicators of problems or challenges that may contributes to child behavior
• Establish strong positive communication between the teachers, the
parents/guardians and students
• Develop stronger understanding of the factors contributing to students
