WATER-BASED LIP TINT

Procedure:
1. Prepare all the needed materials and equipment. Make sure to have a
clean working area.
2. Wear gloves, mask, and hair net (or you can just tie your hair) to avoid
contamination.
3. Put 100 mL distilled/deionized water in a clean container.
4. Add 10 mL Vegetable glycerin to the water.
5. Add 5 g of colorant and mix well until there are no lumps.
6. Add 1 mL of desired flavor and mix well.
7. Add 1 mL of Phenoxyethanol into the mixture.
8. Add 1 mL Vitamin E extract and stir gently until well blended.
9. Using a strainer, transfer the mixture to a clean, labeled container and
store it in a cool, dry place.
10. Throw the lumps from the strainer (if there are any) in the trash bin
(don’t throw it into your sink).
GEL-BASED LIP TINT

8. Finally, add 10 mL Glycerin and stir gently until well-blended.

7. In a separate container, combine 10 mL Glycerin and 1 g Xanthan Gum and
add into the mixture. Stir gently until well-blended.
8. Transfer the mixture to a clean, labeled container and store it in a cool, dry
place.
HD MATTE LIP TINT

Procedure:

3. Mix 15 g Kaolin Clay, 1.5 g USP Talc Powder and 2.5 g Aerosil Fumed Silica
in a container. Then, add 65 mL Water and 20 mL Glycerin. Mix well.
4. Add 1 mL of desired flavor and mix.
5. Add 1 mL Vitamin E extract, 2.5 mL Sorbitol, 1 mL Phenoxyethanol in
order with gentle stirring every after addition.
6. Add 10 g of Colorant and mix well.
7. Transfer the mixture to a clean, labeled container and store it in a cool, dry
place.
POWDER MATTE LIP TINT

Procedure:

3. Mix 2 g Kaolin Clay, 14 g USP Talc Powder and 1 g Aerosil Fumed Silica in a
container. Then, add 85.5 mL Water and 10 mL Glycerin. Mix well.
4. Add 2.5 mL Sorbitol, 0.5 mL Vitamin E extract, 1 mL Dimethicone and 1 mL
Phenoxyethanol in order with gentle stirring every after addition.
5. Add 0.5 mL of desired flavor and 10 g of Colorant. Mix well.
6. Transfer the mixture to a clean, labeled container and store it in a cool, dry
place.
POWDER LIP CREAM
Equipment needed:

Procedure:

3. Combine 74 g water, 1 g Dimethicone Trimethyl Siloxy Silicate and 3.3 g
Fumed Silica. Add more silica for a creamier consistency.
4. Add 5 g Glycerin and 0.2 g Phenoxyethanol in order and gently mix every
after addition.
5. Then, add 15 g iron oxide and 1.5 g flavor in order and gently mix as well.
6. Transfer the mixture to a clean, labeled container and store it in a cool, dry
place.
VELVET MATTE LIP TINT
Equipment needed:

Procedure:
1. Prepare all the needed materials and equipment. Make sure to have a

3. Mix 66 g Suflower oil and 6.5 g Grapeseed oil.
4. Add 1.5 g Dimethicone, 5 g Talc Powder, 0.5 g Kaolin Clay and 3.5 g Fumed
Silica in order and mix well. Add more Silica until preferred consistency is
achieved.
5. Add 0.5 g Phenoxyethanol and mix well.
6. Add the 15 g iron oxide and 1.5 g flavor and mix well.
7. Transfer the mixture to a clean, labeled container and store it in a cool, dry
place.
LIP BALM & CLAY BLUSH
Equipment needed:

Procedure:
1. Prepare all the needed materials and equipment. Make sure to have a

2. Wear gloves, mask, and hair net (or you can just tie your hair) to avoid

3. Place 20 g Shea Butter, 20 g Cocoa Butter, 20 g Candililla wax, 7 g Bees
wax and 20 g Carrier Oila on a heat resistant glass bowl and melt using a
microwave oven (If you do not have access to a microwave oven, you can
use the Double Broiler Method shown in Figures 1a and 1b from
thetoughcookie.com.
DOUBLE BROILER METHOD
Step 1: Fill the pan with an inch of water and heat the water to a simmer.

Step 2: Place the heat-resistant bowl over (not in) the simmering water.

4. Add 20 g Glycerin to the melted wax and butter.


5. Add 20 g oil-soluble colorant (make sure you are not using a
water-soluble colorant. It won’t mix!).
6. Add 5 g Kaolin clay if you prefer a matte finish.
7. Add 15 g flavor and 2 g Phenoxyethanol and mix well.
8. Transfer the mixture to a clean, labeled container.
9. Let it stand until it solidifies and store in a cool, dry place.

4. Add 20 g colorant (should be oil-soluble), 15 g Carrier Oil and 6 g Titanium
Dioxide and mix well.
5. Transfer the mixture to a clean, labeled container and store it in a cool, dry
place.
SKIN HIGHLIGHTER
Equipment needed:

 Weighing Scale (Use a scale with a readability of 0.1/0.10g for more exact
weight)
 Heat plate/Microwave/Stovetop

EDIBLE LIP SCRUB

Procedure:

3. Place 80 g sugar crystals in a mixing bowl.
4. Add 5 g of chosen carrier oil and 5 g of honey and mix until fully
incorporated. (Double the measurement for the carrier oil if honey is not
to be used).
5. Add the colorant and flavor until preferred outcome is reached.
6. Transfer the mixture to clean, labeled containers and store it in a cool, dry
place.

Other Notes: This formulation is best done in small batches.
