SAN JUAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Objectives: The School Planning Team (SPT) aims to create localized curriculum guidelines to
make learning more meaningful to learners and applicable to their life in the community. It also
targets to adapt the curriculum to local conditions and relating the context of curriculum and the
process of teaching and learning to the local environment.
NARRATIVE REPORT:
The School Planning Team (SPT) of San Juan Elementary School successfully conducted
the Crafting of Localized Curriculum Guidelines held on June 2-3, 2014 at the Science Room of
San Juan Elementary School.
The MTB-MLE teacher together with the principal brainstormed and shared their ideas
about the crafting of the guidelines. The important and relevance of the guidelines to the lives of
the learners was also emphasized. They also carefully checked on whether the crafted guidelines
benefit the learners and become meaningful to them.

Activity Completion Report on the
Crafting of Localized Curriculum Guidelines
OBJECTIVES: The School Planning Team (SPT) intends to produce and review the localized
curriculum to produce and review the localized curriculum guidelines based on the local needs
and relevance for the learners; thus allowing for its flexibility and creativity in the lessons. It also
targets to adapt the curriculum to local conditions and relating the context of curriculum and the
process of the teaching and learning to the local environment.
NARRATIVE REPORT:
The conduct in the crafting Localized Curriculum Guidelines was fruitfully held at the
San Juan Elementary School Social Hall lost June 6, 2015 in the School Planning Team (SPT).
The opening prayer was led by Raquel R. Dela Pena. The crafted localized curriculum guidelines
which was made in the previous school year were reviewed on whether they are still up to date
and relevant to the needs of the learners. It was agreed upon that some guidelines school be
added to make the needs of the learners more relevant.

successfully monitored and evaluated the assessment tools on September 18, 2014 at San Juan
Elementary School.
Ruth E. Garrino the leader of Accountability and Continuous Improvement Plan discuss
the importance to monitor and evaluate the assessment tools such as table specification, item
analysis and item bank. Together they share their ideas in the need of monitoring and evaluation
for the attainment of relevant life skills.
