Work Method Statement

Purpose

The Purpose of this method is to explain the use of this material and how to apply.

The Use of this material is to make the surface look good with unison paint colours and will also Give
the surface Protection From Weather Condition.

Material Names:

1. Biofine Sealer (Primer)

2. 2x Biofine Matt/Gloss (First Coat + Top Coat)

Surface to be Paint:

1. Exterior Concrete Slab, Beam & Column

2. Exterior Brick Wall
3. Exterior Dry Wall / Ceiling (Gypsum)

Application Method

A. Surface Preparation:
- Surface Water Content Checking will be performed prior to do any paint job. Please refer
to Technical Data Sheet Provided by the Paint Manufacture.
- Cleaning Preparation To make The Surface free from dust, chalk, oil, grease. The purpose
for this step is to make sure maximum bonding between the surface and the primer
coat.Cleaning the surface will be done using sand paper.

B. Primer Application:
In this particular method the primer is Biofine Sealer (see attached Technical Data For
details). Application for this paint will be done by Airless Spray, Roller and brush For
stripping.

C. First Coat And Top Coat Application:

After Primer Coat Is Done, Clean the surface (If Need) by sanding the surface With Sand
Paper. Biofine Matt/Gloss Will be applied For the Top Coat (2 Layers). Application Method is
to Airless Spray, Rolled and Brushed. For Coating Interval, Dry Film Thickness Please refer to
Provided Technical Data Sheet Provided By the Paint Manufacture.

Working Procedure:

Working Procedure, Working Platform, Safety Issue and Scaffold Will be discuss separately with
Shimizu HSE team prior to start the work.

Cleaning After Works

Pelangi’s Workers Will have to Clean All the Material, Rubish and any remains that are caused by
Pelangi.
Safety Equipment

All Workers Shall Wear Personal Safety Equipment at all time during working and whenever they are
in the project area.

Working At Height:

1. Safety Belt

Working With Corrosive Material:

1. Gloves

Working With Spray Paint:

1. Safety Glass (Spray Paint)
