IV. PROCEDURES
A. Introduction What I need to know
● In this part the content and the objective of the lesson is presented. The learner will be
asked to write down in a piece of paper/meta cards about their concept of injury? And
Intentional injury. Validation and processing of students answer will follow.
What’s new?
● The learner will read the text on page 374-376 about the concept of Intentional Injury and
its characteristics. A short discussion will follow using the concept map on LM p 375. Let
the learners supply the information in the concept map.

B. Development What I know?


● The learner will reflect their knowledge about the concept and characteristics of Intentional
Injury. Let the learner also differentiate intention injury from self inflicted and intentional
injury.
What’s in?
● Guide the learners as the answer the Activity 2 News Bulletin on page 372.

C. Engagement What’s more?


● The learner will suggest their own ideas about how they will be able to be safe and
prevent intentional injury to happen from themselves and their family or love ones.
What can I do?
● The learner will make a creative artwork using coloring materials portraying about
ways to prevent intentional injury.
