1.0 PURPOSE
The purpose of this Procedure is to provide guidance for development of Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) requirements of Electrical Installation and Testing Works.
2.0 SCOPE
This Procedure the quality control requirements for Electrical Installation and Testing Works. This Procedure is for monitoring and ensuring satisfactory performance at relevant
stages of construction whether by construction Contractor(s) or suppliers, In Good Company (IGC) or by the Shell Company.
3.0 DEFINITIONS
IGC In Good Company
Owner The Shell Company Thailand
3rd party Discipline Contractor, Supplier or Inspector working on the Project against a known scope of work.
P check and preparation of record
I Inspection
Inspects the work on an auditing or monitoring basis only. Activity such as measuring and testing of the work, and comparing the
results with the design requirements, to establish that the works have been constructed in accordance with the design
requirements.
R Review
Responsible for reviewing and authorising submissions
W Witness (W) Random Witness
Responsible for witnessing and signing work. Witness inspection may be waived by identified participants.
H Hold Point
Responsible for witnessing and signing work releasing Hold Points. Witness inspection may be NOT be waived by identified
participants. Work may NOT proceed beyond these mandatory Hold Points without witness by the identified participants
