Dear Sir/ Madam,

I am writing to complain about the disappointing holiday I had staying at your


hotel. There are number of points I wish to complain about.

First of all, I booked a standard room with a sea view. However, upon the
arrival, I was told at the reception that the hotel was overbooked and I was to be
accommodated in a room at the back of the hotel, not facing the sea but a busy
street. I was quite disappointed, but since I was promised it was just for a day or
two, I agreed to this. Unfortunately, I stayed in that room until the end of my
holiday, which left me annoyed and dismayed.

Furthermore, the hotel was in terrible condition. One of the lifts was constantly
out of order, so the other one was always busy or crammed. The quality of food
was very unsatisfactory; the variety of food offered by the restaurant was very
low. Also, there was no proper vegetarian food at all. 

Likewise, I feel I should complain about the water sports service. It was very
expensive, with limited number of activities. Maybe you should have prepared
some special offers for your customers.

In conclusion, since I did not get the accommodation and service I booked and
paid for, I would ask you to provide a detailed explanation of unsatisfactory
service and a full refund of the price I paid for the accommodation and service.
Please find enclosed the receipt and some photographs of the facilities which, in
my opinion, did not meet the standard.

I look forward to your reply and hope you will consider my suggestions
positively.
